Oracle cards

Oracle cards for the weekend May 19th-20th 2018

We picked some cards for you for this weekend (May 19th-20th 2018)!

As usual, the interpretations you can read below are our own (not verbatim from the deck’s booklets).

Note: The photo was shot on a rock in our garden. Under the cards you can see the very first batch of wild strawberries that we found this year just a couple of days ago – they were yummy!

Here are the cards we picked:

A) “Artistic Expression – Paul the Venetian” from the “Ascended Masters Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue is a card we also picked in our March’s reading [ read that too, because it’s relevant, then come back here http://blog.sanctuaryofjoy.org/2017/03/19/oracle-cards-weekend-march-18th-19th-2017/ ] and we feel this card keep popping up is renewing its advice and is asking for a ‘checkpoint’ and to look at the last period from today’s perspective: what skills have you learned in the last couple of months, what did you use your creativity for? What did you create (or are you creating)? In which cases did you follow advice and when did you do it on your own? What were your most important take-aways from these experiences? Find a quiet meditative moment to assess where you are at and then continue exploring, learning and creating – as you are not done but growing every day.

B) “Rescue” from “The Enchanted Map Oracle cards” by Colette Baron-Reid shows a damsel in distress, maybe a princess who is trapped in a castle, waiting to be rescued. The rescuer above in the hot-air balloon is just that: full of hot air but looking elsewhere. The card is telling you that you don’t need to wait for someone to rescue you – you can rescue yourself! Rest assured that you have what it takes to get through this situation and that the cage you feel trapped into only exists because you let it exist; you have the power to get out of it any time you want if you just believe in yourself.

C) “Ear Chackra” from the “Angel Therapy Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue is an invite to tune in to the sounds you hear and discover the messages they carry to you. Just be aware that even your favourite songs are influenced by their producers and the media industry is the propaganda machine for society’s status quo: beware of their lyrics. Much better to walk in nature and to hear the wind and the birds singing; those don’t have second agendas.

D) “Grandmother Earth” from the “Native Spirit Oracle cards” by Denise Linn asks you to honor the earth and her ancient wisdom, to recognize that nature is abundant and providing for you. You should respect Nature and care for it – and for yourselves – and allow for a slow down in your rhythm to get close to the earth’s heartbeat. Get grounded. Take slow but steady steps. Hold faith that you will be supported and feel in your heart that it’s true – even if logic or people’s judgment suggest otherwise.

We hope this reading was useful and inspirational for you – let us know!

Have a blessed day,
Jyothi & Daniele
