Oracle cards

Oracle cards for the weekend April 14th-15th 2018

We picked some cards for you for this weekend (April 14th-15th 2018), which features a New Moon in Aries in close conjunction with Uranus which might indicate unexpected/unforeseen events: a good time to take a risk and hope that it will bring happy surprises.

As usual, the interpretations you can read below are our own (not verbatim from the deck’s booklets).

Note: The photo was shot on the double stone circle on our land that we use for barbecuing and bonfires – we dubbed it ‘the volcano’.

Here are the cards we picked:

A) “Try something new” from the “Magical Unicorns Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue is an invite for you: if you are a lawyer or an engineer, why cant you also write poetry? Or make music? Or care for a vegetable garden? You should not feel constrained or limited by what you have studied, by what you have been doing for a living so far, by the labels that society has attached to you; it’s never too late to embrace some new endeavor, learn about something you’ve always wanted to learn and break out of boredom. You only know what you soul longs to do – start doing it! Even if at first you are afraid you won’t be able to do it, you can ask your friends and family to help you and take you along on their adventures or you can sign up for a class where you can learn new skills, meet new people and find out you have much more potential than you thought!

B) “Kali-Ma; Facing Fears” from the “Keepers of the Light Oracle cards” by Kyle Gray seems like a logical continuation from the previous card: it invites you to get out of your comfort zone, to face your fears head on and then move away from it. Kali is a fierce female Hindu goddess, the Twin Flame of Lord Shiva. She can appear intimidating because of her strong transformative energy which seeks to kill our ego’s and allow us to reveal our true selves – something that takes a lot of courage. Call upon Kali to give you the power of slaying your ego mask and be reborn as who you were meant to be.

C) “Love Life” from the “Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue gives a hint that the answer to your question involves, somehow, your love life and the way you approach relationships; ask the fairies for help if this connection isn’t immediately apparent to you. It could indicate that a change in your romantic life is imminent: a new love, a marriage, a break-up… or just that you need to connect with your romantic partner and talk to him or her about this question, in order to find the answer.

D) “Let go of control issues” from “The Romance Angels Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue demands that you stop trying to control this situation; stop projecting your fears upon it; stop pretending perfection. Learn to flow, day by day, and take life as it comes. This doesn’t mean becoming a doormat and let people walk over you – boundaries remain important – but being a control freak is not helping you either: you might want things to go a certain way but you should not feel betrayed by the Universe if they don’t. Accept and learn to recognize that Divine plans are in place which will provide the best possible outcome if you stay open to possibilities and drop your expectations.

We hope this reading was useful and inspirational for you – let us know!

Have a blessed day,
Jyothi & Daniele
