We picked some cards for you for this weekend of a New Moon in Pisces and St.Patrick’s day! As usual, the interpretations you can read below are our own (not verbatim from the deck’s booklets).
Note: The photo was shot in our kitchen. The cards are placed in a bowl full of ‘strigoli’ (Silene inflata), which is a spontaneous plant growing in this area, that is edible and healthy – in fact it’s family of spinach and contains a lot of iron!
Here are the cards we picked:
A) “Connect with Nature” from the “Magical messages from the Fairies Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue is an invite to seek connection with Nature: a hike, a walk in the park, listening to the wind and the birds. It’s amazing what an amount of healing energy nature can provide. These days many of us live in a man-made reality of towns, offices and shopping malls, which alienate and make us accumulate a lot of stress just for the fact of being continuosly surrounded (or at close distance) by a lot of people and their energy. By being in nature, surrounded by its beauty, you’ll empty space in your head to see the solutions you are searching for, and you’ll receive insights from the color and the sounds of nature. Other ways you can reconnect with nature may include improving your diet to include more fresh, organic fruit and veggies from the earth and ditching all the processed crap that the food industry provides; or going for a spiritual retreat into the woods.
B) “God Box” from the “Angel Therapy Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue invites you to write down or draw your worries and symbolically place the in a box or drawer for God and the angels to help you sole this situation. Know that it is not up to you to determine the outcome but it’s all OK because it is in Divine hands. Leave your worries to God and the angels and ask them for help and release any fear you have! If you don’t yet have a ‘god box’, then it’s time to get one – any carton or wooden box would do and you can decorate it and make it special in any way you like. If you have kids you can even turn this into a family project and they can help you decorate it and they can also put their worries into it as a family healing and bonding activity. In the future, when the box is full, you can make a campfire and burn all those worries!
C) “Spirit of Air” from the “Native Spirit Oracle cards” by Denise Linn represents the mental aspect of your life: your ability to use logic, to discern, to formulate theories, etc. Air is a subtle energy we cannot see – but we need to live. And yet we all breathe the same air and that connects us all to the divine breath. It might indicate it’s time let in some fresh air by cleaning clutter in your home and in our life or, at least, get some wind through your hair (maybe a walk to the beach or on a mountain) to think clearly and try to get a higher perspective – this would help you consider a situation also from the other people’s point of view.
D) “Isolt – Undying Love” from the “Goddess Guidance Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue reminds you that your Love is real and eternal, no matter what circumstances make it look like. Isolt suffered much in life for love and yet she carried her burden with respect and dignity. Draw inspiration from and call her for help to deal with your relationships of all kinds: romantic, platonic, parental, friendly and so forth – because love has many forms. This card might refer – for some people – to a love that is not meant to evolve into another form (i.e. friend to romantic) in this lifetime, no matter how much you would like it to. Or on the contrary, for other people, this card might be a confirmation that a departed loved one is still around you and loves you like always, even if he or she isn’t physically beside you any longer.
We hope this reading was useful and inspirational for you – let us know!
Have a blessed day,
Jyothi & Daniele
