Love does not end; it’s people who stop loving

A lot of the “reasons” people state when justifying their break-ups are bullshit.
“Love eventually dies” is bullshit.

Love is like a fire: you have to tend it. Make it grow or make it slow down at times. Make it ‘stable’ enough for cooking. Keep throwing wood at it to keep it going.

Yes, when UN-cared for, love can die. But it’s the people who choose to stop working on it.
