At the beginning of every month we pull three Oracle cards or Tarot cards, for a generalized prediction of the month. We hope you enjoy them!

This month’s photo was shot in our playground area: you can see the play house with the sunflowers on the background (all kids love that) and there is a red slide on the right end side that takes you down from the higher terrace to a lower one – our daughter routinely uses that as a ‘shortcut’ to reach the hen’s area!
This month we used the famous ‘Thoth’ Tarot deck by Aleister Crowley painted by Lady Frieda Harris between 1938 and 1943.
For the beginning of the month we pulled the ‘Four of Cups‘: this card speaks of a sort of stagnation, like when the original inspiration for something has degenerated and events repeat themselves decadently without providing real joy anymore. Maybe situations have been forced and, by attempting to control the power of Water (emotions), dissatisfaction has resulted. It’s time to re-assess where you are at, re-evaluate and pinpoint what areas need steering in a different direction to re-balance the individual, the couple or the team.
For the central part of the month we pulled the ‘Prince of Swords‘ (Note that Princes in Crowley’s Tarot correspond to Knights in the Rider-Waite deck): this figure has a sharp intellect and he invites you to analyze, dissect, observe and gain a deep understanding of each person and situation, before acting or saying anything. Listen more than you speak. This period will provide clarity and you might come to understand that yes, we live in a bad world full of conflict and pain and suffering but that we also always have a choice to decide to be happy, regardless.
The card we drew for the last part of the month is the ‘Princess of Swords‘ (Princesses in Crowley’s Tarot correspond to Pages in the Rider-Waite deck): this figure is an amateur with her sword and yet she has what it takes to achieve her mission. Her insight for the last part of the month will be to work on building up your self-confidence, to see yourself as a winner and learn to trust in your own power: you kick ass!
