Oracle cards

Oracle cards reading for the weekend of September 16th-17th 2017

We picked some cards for you! As usual, the interpretations you can read below are our own (not verbatim from the deck’s booklets).

Note: The photo was shot at the CircoCentrica 2017 juggling convention in Rome that we visited last weekend – since our kids love juggling.

Here are the cards we picked:

A) “Krishna / Devotion” from the “Keepers of the Light Oracle cards” by Kyle Gray: Krishna is an Hindu god embodying Divine Wisdom. As such he’s revered as a great spiritual guide to look into. He can help you overcome the limitations and conflicting thoughts that the Ego creates in your mind. This card means that you have a strong spiritual connection with the divine and you must trust the guidance that you receive from divine inspiration. You might feel like you have been on an emotional roller coaster but, nevertheless, you are loved by the divine and taken care of. Before making a decision, ask yourself what will honor all those who are involved and affected by it: if you can choose the best for all – not just what your ego wants – you will feel even closer to the divine.

B) “Oonagh / Easy does it” from the “Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards” by Doreen Virtue reminds you to take life one step at the time, to not overwork yourself nor try to force things to happen. Just put one foot in front of the other, take care of things that are on your path to reach your desired vision but do it gently without struggle. Everything will unfold in divine timing. Ignore what other people say you should and how you should do it, ignore their drama and just keep making progress on what matters to you, one day at the time.

C) “Debt paid off” from the “Magical messages from the Fairies Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue announces a shift or improvement in your financial situation that will happen as you start believing that the Universe supports you and that you deserve to live well: this might include the ability to clear off debts, credit cards bills, etc and learning how to reduce your spending, evaluate what’s essential (or not at all) in your consumption. We intuitively feel that (albeit Doreen didn’t write anything about this for this card) in the current astrological configuration and timeframe (the Moon shrinking from Full into smaller and smaller slices leading to the new moon of the 20th) this card might refer to also paying off Karmic debt: you might be able to finally get a closure on some ‘bad’ period of your life (that had to happen to repay negative Karma accumulated in a previous life) and move on into a brighter future.

D) “Queen of Swords” from the “The Herbal Tarot” by Michael Tierra and Candis Cantin is an independent figure: she stands on her own with clear-cut vision (sharp like her sword which can cut thru illusion and deception), she’s open to inspiration and she has the ability to manifest what she believes in, while standing firm and balanced on the earth (in contact with Nature and with the divine order of things). Due to her clarity of vision and steadiness, she is able to help other see through the masks and the mental traps they create for themselves and cut through the chase to the real issues that need to be worked on by each individual. Such witness and clarity could also be abused to deceive and take advantage of situations, but a good queen will always stay true to her heart and only use it to help others and do good deeds.
This might represent an encounter with such a wise person (a therapist, counselor or friend) or that you have reached a level where you feel you already strongly embody those qualities and can be supportive for others.
In this Tarot deck each card is associated with a herb; the Queen of Sword’s plant is the “Lady’s slipper” which helps with curing spasms, stress and depression, due to its calming qualities, and it helps strengthen one’s nervous system and give clarity of thoughts. Another plant with similar qualities (but much easier to find) is Lavender.

We hope this reading was useful and inspirational for you – let us know!

Have a blessed day,
Jyothi & Daniele
