We picked some cards for you! As usual, the interpretations you can read below are our own (not verbatim from the deck’s booklets).

Note: The photo was shot on a slice of a huge cedar tree. We got this beautiful piece of wood when we were living in America. No, we didn’t cut the tree! The people across the street from our home – in their property – were cutting down this beautiful, centuries-old tree to make room for their house, so Jyothi asked if we could get a slice of it. We moved it to the Netherlands and then to Italy, and we currently use it as a coffee table on our deck.

Here are the cards we picked:

A) “Enchanted Forest” from “Gaia Oracle” by Toni Carmine Salerno is a reminder that life is mysterious and magical, surprising, puzzling and ever-changing. Be enchanted by the surprises and mysteries unraveling before your very eyes and allow divine timing to work its magic without trying to control the outcome of a situation or draw conclusions too early about it. Sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down: now it’s the moment to climb up from the depths and enjoy the journey!

B) “Playfulness” from “The Romance Angels Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue tells us that the Angels want to help you falling back in love with life and embrace a spirit of joy and adventure. Fun is a need of every human being – not a luxury for few – and play time is essential for relationships to keep their sparkle alive and growing. Having fun with your partner doesn’t have to be expensive: you can enjoy simple pleasures like flying a kite, splashing in the sea or in a lake (summer is almost here!) or have a walk in nature. Whatever your flavor of ‘fun’ looks like – go have some!

C) “Heather” from “The Druid plant Oracle” by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm is a plant loved by bees, which grows on hills and mountains, above the point where trees will grow. The bees travel up high to feast on it and then return to their hives. This plant symbolizes community and time to celebrate: while human beings might tend to focus on the negatives points in your life and on their pains and suffering (often in regards to our relationships), this card is telling you that it is time to explore a different point of view – like the bees flying high – and of making a conscious effort to see what’s good and positive about each relationship and people you know and have known. Celebrate your community and become more aware of its positive influence. This plant has been historically used for fermented drinks, such as a type of ale, as well as for herbal teas. Heather was known as far back as the neolithic period for its restorative properties, believed to purify your blood from toxins and for generally restoring strength to the fatigued nerves, facilitating good sleep, and for generally bringing luck.

D) “Time to decide” from “Life Purpose Oracle cards” by Doreen Virtue is essentially asking: ‘what are you waiting for?’. Be honest with yourself and acknowledge your deeper feelings without hiding them in doubt, fear and excuses: what is that you truly desire? Whatever you dream and soul purpose are, know within yourself that they are achievable. Take charge of your life and go after your dreams!

We hope this reading was useful and inspirational for you – let us know!

Have a blessed day,
