How long has it been since the last time you had good fun? We don’t mean the ‘forced’ type of fun that groups of acquaintances pretend to have at company meetings; we mean honest, relaxed, healing fun you shared with people you really care about – when everything was ‘flowing’ and spontaneous, when small, simple thing brought you a lot of joy?
If you can’t remember, it is definitely time to take that time for yourself – plan it in, or just take it now – but make sure you allow yourself to savor the precious miracle of life.
Even if you think you have more ‘important’ stuff to do, or that you can’t afford it: it doesn’t have to be expensive. Treat yourself to some delicious moment and make it a habit, without falling into guilt because you have done it.
You will feel renewed and, when you feel better, everybody around you feels it and gets stimulated by it, too.
