This month we used the famous ‘Rider-Waite’ Tarot deck.
For the beginning of the month we pulled the Two of Wands (Fire). This card tells a story of having started on some new path but not quite knowing where it will take us, yet. Maybe school has just started, or we are embarking in a new project or job.Bottom line is that we’ll feel energized and excited about something we are doing albeit we haven’t figured it all out yet. Or maybe precisely because we haven’t figured it all out yet and we are enjoying the challenge! We might feel impulsive. We might need help from others and new partnerships could be formed. There might be financial worries but we should not let our thoughts drive us down. We need to keep the ball rolling and have faith, as our thoughts drive what we will manifest. This card has the energy of Mars in Aries.
For the central part of the month we have ‘The Magician‘ (one of the ‘Major Arcana’): it is a card that speaks of the power of our intentions and our words, to be used wisely to manifest your wishes, not your demons! Stay focused on what your soul really wants, listen to your heart and do not listen to fear (ego); you will create something wonderful. Good things will happen.This is the energy of Mercury, which rules communication and intellect, even if you need to watch out as Mercury is currently retrograde (August 31st till September 22nd). The Magician in this case reminds us more than ever that our words have power. Stay focused on your positive vision and only speak positively. Pray for strength if you happen to doubt.
The card we drew for the last part of the month is ‘The Tower‘ (another ‘Major Arcana’!). This card symbolizes a striking revelation or insight that you will receive in this period! Something happening in your life make you ‘see’ or ‘get’ something you had not considered before. Your awareness will be increased. This might be aligning with the end of the ‘dormant’ Mercury retrograde period mentioned earlier – as from September 23rd it might be a good time to evaluate where we are, also in light of new information, communicate more clearly and adjust our vision to where we would like to be. From awareness comes the will and strength to adapt and change as necessary. This card has the energy of Mars: bold, courageous, daring.
